Microsoft To-Do for Mac now integrates with Microsoft Planner (via OnMSFT). The integration allows you to create tasks in Planner and have them show up within a special 'Assigned to Me' section inside Microsoft To-Do.

If you look at a task in Microsoft To-Do and need to see more details such as comments and file attachments you can select 'Open in Planner' to jump into Microsoft Planner. Tasks created in Microsoft Planner can also show up in other sections of Microsoft To-Do if you'd like. For example, if a task has a due date, it will show up in the 'Planned' list.

Microsoft may have delayed Windows 10X and Surface Neo beyond 2020

Microsoft's upcoming Windows 10X and Surface Neo products may not be shipping in time for the holiday after all, according to a new report from ZDNet's Mary-Jo Foley. This means that other Windows 10X devices from third-party manufactures also won't be launching at the end of this year like originally planned. Microsoft's dual-screen Windows 10X effort has been put on pause.

Apple makes great hardware and operating systems, but when it comes to applications, the company has plenty of room for improvement. For productivity, Microsoft still reigns supreme. Apple's iWork, for instance, is passable, but it is largely garbage compared to Microsoft Office. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote may look great, but smart professionals will invest in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint -- they are far more powerful. Even the totally free LibreOffice bests Apple's iWork.

With all of that said, macOS users should be very happy that Microsoft supports Apple's operating system. Quite frankly, without Microsoft's excellent productivity software -- such as Office and OneNote -- Mac computers would be far less attractive to power users and professionals. Today, Microsoft brings another fine app to the macOS platform -- To-Do. It is chock-full of useful features, including the ability to add tags/hashtags by simply typing a #.

You don't need to go into the detail view to do that in the Mac app -- you can do it straight from your list view. Select the task you want to edit and then click on the text in order to edit the task name.'
